Evaluation of Antiasthamic Activity of Electrohomeopathy Formulation Pettorale on Experimental Animals

Objective: The current study was planned to evaluate the antiasthamatic effect of Electrohomeopathic medicine Pettorale in various experimental models.
 Methods: antiasthmatic activity studied on different animals like histamine induced bronchospasm guinea pig, haloperidol catalepsy rats, egg albumin paw anaphylaxis rats and milk leukocytosis mice.
 Conclusion: Preliminary phytochemical screening has revealed presence alkaloids, glycosides, carbohydrates, amino acids, proteins, steroids terpenoids. Petorella exhibited best antihistaminic at dose 400 mg/kg. It inhibited haloperidol-induced catalepsy, increased leukocyte count eosinophil due allergen. Antiasthmatic may be possible membrane stabilising potential, suppression antibody production inhibition antigen release.
